You can add JAMES CARDOZO as another member of the TVICE crew who would much rather travel by CAR instead of by small planes in HAITI. This is what he told me about the near tragic plane incident with TVICE in Haiti during their tour this past summer.

JAMES: "I am swearing off these small planes in Haiti, especially the ones with the one propeller in the front. Mwen pa nan bagay avion sa min'm. I'm going to keep it real. When we first started in the business, we use to travel by CAR, so now being that the band is more popular, we have MORE TO LOSE if an accident happens, especially with the small plane issue. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS whatsoever to go back to travelling by CAR in Haiti. NONE."

James continues: "You don't understand bro. They have no tower, no way of communicating with each other. No way of seeing if there is bad weather on the way. Who regulates that stuff? It's not safe at all. That same plane that we were on is the exact same plane that crashed the other day. I would rather go back to us taking 2 to 6 hours to reach a destination, instead of reaching it earlier, but with no guarantee that we are safe up there."

I agree with the guys, it's their lives that's at stake! Pat whenever you have

the chance, can you find out how the security will be for these guys as far of

terms of traveling by a vehicle. Will they be escorted by PNH or do they have

their own security that will be escorting them.

I think the T-Vice crew should seriously think about that also. You don't know

what gangs in Haiti could be thinking. Just a food for thought!

Konsa piti piti moun a komanse repran konfyans nan voyaje nan provens yo nan avion.

Sak pi rèd la sè ke pri yo chè anpil epi se yon pakèt avion ki pa reponn ak nòm nan lòt peyi yo ankò ki ap fè trajè-a. Mwen sonje mwen ta pral Okap epi map gade anndan ti avion kote wap gade boulon ki vise yon seri de pyes. pa gen kapitonaj anyen.

Ke gouvènman an mete strikti pou bagay yo ka fèt kòm sa dwa fwenk

He's so right... Those small planes are dangerous. I've flown with them from P-O-P to Cap-Haitien. They are hot as hell, the seats are so uncomfotable but those are minor issues. They fly so close to the mountains, your heart drops. One time the engine shut off with us in mid-air. Rolling Eyes

@DJKrazyMix - Thugs and gangs should be there last concern when traveling by car. The roads should be there main concern. I can't find the statistics but I am sure more people are injured or die tragically by car than these small charter airplanes. Once you leave the suburbs of PAP you're on your own as far as roadways, especially when traveling north. There's some points of the road you have the option to drive thru someone's yard, down a narrow alley, up a small ramp with the side panels of your tires are greeting the ravine just inches away.

NOTE: I found it easier when traveling to the north, to go to Northeast Dominican Republic to Dajabon, then piggy back (literally) across the river into Ouanaminthe. Pou mwen se la plezi'a yer. Yon anee mwen t'ap sorti lan Fet Champet lan Nord-Est, mesyer sou kou kk, ler mwen rive pou mwen al traveser riviere'a... Neg pa fouti jwen ate, mwen pran so pou mwen pa chape... Bel trip...

Wow, I never knew it was that hard Shocked

I'm thinking since T-Vice did travel by car before, they should know what

necessary routes they should take, right?
