Antillean - I must admit... That was funny and I was laughing hard... I cannot believe how far the RED SUCKS fans have to go to prove a point. The T-shirt is made in Boston. I cannnot believe they are using God's name against God's team... That shows us are deperate your people are. Now I am convinced.. All Red Sucks fans are evil and have a label 666 in the head.......

You Boxer...... Evil but that can change by becoming a Yankees fan

Calista --- Evil but that can change by moving to NY and root for the Yankees

Antillean - Lougarou - That can change by flying to NY and be a Yankees..

Yankees - God's team
Tipoupouche - God's children....

You know why I know the Yankees is God's team... Everyone hate them just like Jesus were... The whole KM board hates the Yankees even guy like radiocitadelle that does not even know what is a bunt hates the Yankees... that shows you that the devil is powerful. Even TiBoxer who is a Jehovah Witness hates the Yankees..
I am god children.. I love God's team...

Hey Daph!! Wink Good to see you back. Looking forward to game 2 this evening. I just hope the weather behaves and allows us to make it past the 5th inning with a lead.

Pouche, there's not a single bone of Jehovah Witness in my body. All Red Sox baby!!! Laughing All Red Sox!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hey guys - here's an article from the New York Post's Mike Vacarro that summed up the night pretty good and that I also agree with.

JOHNNY GETS A BOO-SOX GREETING
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May 2, 2006 -- BOSTON - Johnny Damon heard what he wanted to hear, he listened with his heart instead of his ears, so there wasn't a question what he would do that first time up last night.
Yes, you could feel the earth rattle with venom, the anger spilling out of the sky, the fans who'd come to bury him starting their furious chants, unfurling their banners, throwing their Monopoly money.

Booing all the way to the Back Bay.

He had to hear it. John Quincy Adams could hear it. Mike Myers, another expatriate Red Sox now wearing Yankee double-knits, he heard it, and it hacked him off: "Disappointed, but shocked. I would have thought he'd have heard more cheers."

Joe Torre heard it, and it mystified him: "I guess we should feel proud. Evidently, wearing a Yankee uniform overrides winning a World Series and busting your tail for four years. Without Johnny here, they may have been working on 89 or 90 years [without a championship]. It's too bad they don't appreciate that more so than they dislike the fact that he's wearing our uniform."

Damon prized his teammates' support, and his boss' backing, but he didn't really need it. He heard the soft clapping of the few bleeding through the bile of the many. Somehow, what he felt was love.

So he doffed his cap. Did it again. And again. And again. Tim Wakefield had the ball in his hand, ready to send a butterfly Damon's way, but Damon wouldn't step in the box, not yet. He did a slow 360, keeping his helmet aloft, thanking the people for his memories even if they'd forgotten all of theirs.

"I thought the reaction was great," Damon said later, after a 7-3 Red Sox win was complete. "I felt like I had to salute the fans. They don't boo bad players, they boo good players, the kind of players who can make a difference. And I'm the kind of player who can make a difference."

He didn't do that last night, handcuffed at 0-for-4. He didn't hit a ball hard all night, and wound up with a front-row seat for the game's biggest play - the mammoth blast David Ortiz hit off Myers in the eighth inning, through the teeth of a howling wind and into the Red Sox bullpen.

"I've seen him do that a lot here," Damon said with a nostalgic smile that summarized his day perfectly.

When he'd first walked on the field five hours before, he'd looked almost forlornly at his ex-teammates taking batting practice, not quite knowing how he should act.

It wasn't until Ortiz wandered over to the Yankees' side of the field wearing a bright red stocking cap and his usually super-sized grin that Damon finally looked comfortable.

"What up, Damon?" Ortiz yelled.

"Gangsta!" Damon replied. And they hugged. And then they hugged again. And then a third time.

Behind them, Manny Ramirez, grinning, smiled as he uttered an unprintable greeting. "I got a new team now," Damon yelled back. "I got me some new friends."

For the first time since he left Fenway Park last October, following the Game 3 loss to the White Sox, Damon looked truly comfortable again.

Look, nobody forced Damon to sign on with the Yankees. But no amount of money can change a man's soul, either. You don't need to study it much to see how much more comfortable Damon is around the Sox frat party than the Yankee boardroom. He's adapted to his new environs, because he was paid handsomely to do it. He's a Yankee now. Says so on the uniform.

But it's clear he's left a good chunk of his heart behind.

"I'm going out to see some old friends now," Damon said when his workday was done, and for a few stolen hours he could pretend he was back in the Idiot's cocoon, where a part of him will always reside, no matter how good he says he feels in pinstripes. No matter how loud the boos are here, for the rest of his career. His ears heard one thing. His heart heard another. It was entitled.

I like the article too Ti box...unfortunatley guys I hate to admit it but I didn't watch the game b/c I had to attend to other matters. I watched highlights though this morning and it wasn't pretty at all. Hopefully my boys do a better job tonight.

Both Tipoupouche and Daphnee are nothing but sore losers, I 100% disagree with the fans yesterday but I do understand where they are coming from it is because they are passionate fans that this happened.

Now you two are so quick to point fingers but do you remember David wells? You know the fat guy with the bad knee who we have inherited? Do you guys remember how much he busted his butt for the yanks? Now when he came to the sox after the yanks did not even want him what happened the first time he pitched at Yankee stadium? He got booed like there's no tomorrow. SO YOU BOTH SORE LOSERS NEED TO GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSES AND GET READY FOR A SECOND BUT WHOOPING!!!!

I will rather be a jehovah's witness anyday then to worship the devil like the yankees fans out there.
