Oh how sweet was that Bu$$ kicking last night, it was just a magical night with Mirabelli making in just in time to stop those bums and JD coming back home wishing he did not take that big paycheck. JD went 0-4 so you see sub-conciously he is still a red sox. Bring it on yanks we got your numbers.

RED SOX 1

evil empire 0

1 down 18 more to go

Go sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TiBoxer... Relax... Like I said.. Folks who are Red Sox fan are hostile, mean, dirty mouth and off course junkies......... This is a perfect case where I am not judging the book by its cover but its content.

Booing Damon showed their true color....

I like that! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Mete pou li mete pou li!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Pouche, lets be fair for a minute - not all Sox fans booed him. Many people cheered. And yes he won them over the next time he stepped to the plate.

Johnny did something that's considered wrong to many Sox fans by defecting to the Yanks. It takes a forgiving heart to cheer him, and for all his heart work here in the past, I believe he ought to be forgiven.

Guys,

here's a quote from Joe Torre - and I actually agree with him 100%.

_______________________________________________

While Some Fans Were Crass, Damon Showed His Class

Quote:
“I was a little disappointed in the reaction by the fans. I guess we should feel proud. Evidently wearing a Yankee uniform overrides winning a World Series and busting your tail for years. Without Johnny here, they may have been working on 89 or 90 years [without a championship]. It’s too bad they don’t appreciate that more so than they dislike the fact that he’s wearing our uniform.†-- 5.1.06, Joe Torre, Extra Bases: Wrapping Up a Wild Night

_______________________________________________

I agree wholeheartedly with Torre here, and althoug there's nothing I can do about it, I hope this doesn't become an everytime thing. Of course I'm wishful thinking here.

But in all fairness, I think poeple have to realize that if they were in Johnny's shoes they likely would have done the same.

Quite frankly, I don't think Johnny Damon cares for the Yankees as much as he cares for the money he's making. Yeah he'll go out there and bust his tail for them night in night out - but eventually it's all about the loot.
