Hello Pat,
I'm embarassed to say that half the time that I'm reading the board; I can't place a face with an artist's name. (o.k....more than half)
Is there any way that you can post a thumbnail picture at the first mention of artist in a thread or have a page with all their pics?

Thanks.

What do you mean????????????????????

I am tired to see the way you're trying to make other members feel inferior. When someone is in need, you help them. You don't ask them how come they have nothing, and walk away. It's not the first time I see you doing that. It already happened so many times.

She must not own any CD (like you said).... And then what? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Do you know the reason why she does not? Doesn't she have the right to do whatever she wants with her money? I think she works hard to earn it like everybody. You might make the choice to purchase every CD in the market. She might have more important stuff to take care of. It's just about belief and priority.
I think the fact that she is spending some of her precious time to come to the board and help her culture go farther is already a lot. Not everyone decides to do it. So calm down, bro, and pleaaaaaaaase, STOP RIDICULING OTHERS because they don't know or do something.

No need to feel embarassed Lola. I don't know all of the artists by name also and I own CDs. Slowly I am learning. Perhaps with some groups one could refer to CDs to associate faces with names. I don't think this would be the case with others. Currently, my method of learning is by reading the headlines on KMs main page. There is usually a photo of the artist by the headline. Sometimes the name-face association sticks to memory, sometimes it doesn't. In time I'll be able to put faces with names. Your suggestion is not a bad one. There isn't a headline for every thread that is started.

Mrgentle,
I can't make anyone feel anything that he or she is not already. I dont have that kind of power. You're reading too much out of my comment.

Mistergentle,
Thank You for coming to my defense and for your insight.
You're right, I have a very full life.
Even when I was a college student, I didn't have the time to to dissect CD's American or Haitian.

I am happy for who? who finds such time in between his studies.
I stopped paying attention to his posts quite some time ago..as you said ...he has already revealed his character.

My Grandmother would say: "Po diab, ce pa fot li... se konsa'l ye"

JenJen,
Me too, I get the pics from some of the headlines, but sometimes it won't stick unless they come up alot.
KM is our foremost Music magazine in and for the HMI. I think that if it were in print form the pics would be a given.

DJ Kreyol,
Thanks!

I think who? is trying to tell Lola that Haitian musicians almost always put their faces on cd covers.

God bless your heart. I think a lot people look to pull something negative out of my posts.
