Hopefully Kunta will drop some Channel 10 for us since Yanvaloo Bwè Pwa.....
On another note I'm glad to see that.....
More and more people start to realize that Konpa is 51 years old and not 15 years old.............

I will talk about some bands on your list at a later time,may be in a couple of days in the meantime I'm trying to keep this post about Channel 10 and how they try to play like Déjean.
One of the star musicians of Channel 10 was the Gonguist Savius Ludovick better known as "CHINOIS" for his Chinese look............
Chinois later joined the band Les Shleu Shleu the version put together by Smith Jean Baptiste in the 1990's in N.Y. Chinois can be seen in the Moun Damou Video to those who may have that video.....
Another musician the guitarist Levelt Mathieu later in his career played for Djet X in N.Y

Does it always have to be him? lol
Sabrina has more of a La Foi feel to it than Marina
La Police has Debake feel to it.
This album also had a Scorpio Universel influence which does not surprise me because they became Universel Channel 10

Thanks for the info Staff Poze. Freres Dejean is one of my favorite bands. I really love their horn arrangements. I agree with Mr. Champagna. Sabrina really sounds life La Foi, especially in the first horn segment after the English count off.
