Which HMI legend might have gotten himself in hot water with a current HMI SUPERSTAR when years ago before the HMI superstar released his megahit solo cd, he was told by the legend that he would never make it big in the Antilles because of his voice. The Legend wrongly predicted that the singer's voice was not what the Antilles market was looking for. The legend apparently relayed that message to the current hmi superstar years ago after a bal between 2 legendary bands at brasserie Creole. The hmi superstar apparently stopped by to assist the party.
Years later, the hmi superstar is one of the biggest Haitian attractions in the Antilles market. It looks like the hmi superstar has FORGIVEN the HMI legend for his comment, but he will never FORGET what was said, especially because the hmi superstar felt that the HMI legend was apparently trying to put him down because the hmi legend's band was/is very popular down there for a long time.

I guess that the HMI Superstar should give a call back to the HMI Legend and tell him that he never forgot what he said to him about his voice and the antilles market.
I might be wrong though.

I was in Boston when I was in college and I heard with my own ears Shoubou dissing the new generation style. Shoubou does not have a lot of friends in the new generation corps of talent. They respect him for his contributions but not his advice. Rightfully so, the HMI legend has been wrong on many instances. |

No haitian Super Star is more popular in the french islands than Alan.

The new generation is smart enough to look out for their own and break the ANTILLES market.
The old generation was kind of careless in that sens. They did not have the manageurial skills and the "savoir faire" the new generation has.
