EMELINE MICHEL RUTSHELLE FATIMA talk by FABRICE ROUZIER!

The state of the industry when it comes to the ladies is talked about here by Fabrice Rouzier.

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Is it fair to say that RUTSHELLE is the heir apparent to EMELINE MICHEL in the industry; or are we getting ahead of ourselves by giving her that title too early?
FABRICE ROUZIER: "Emeline is in a class by herself. Rutshelle is a fantastic vocalist and is probably one of the most popular haitian artists today but i think they cater to completely different audiences."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Who do you foresee as the so called HEIR APPARENT to EMELINE in the business?
FABRICE ROUZIER: "No one as of yet. Emeline has made it a point to bring about her roots and her culture and she wears it on her forehead. I don't see or feel a genuine love of tradition and deeply rooted Haitian identity in young artists today ( male or female ). This is what Yole Derose is trying to transmit to the girls, but few of them get it. Some do, but they don't have the popularity of say Rutshelle or Fatima."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What has made RUTSHELLE stand out from the pack in the eyes of the fans in your opinion; which makes her arguably the most popular Haitian female artist on the market TODAY..AFTER Emeline of course; or maybe you disagree with that assessment?
FABRICE ROUZIER: "The various controversies of course, but she is also a fantastic vocalist. She is extremely present on social media and makes it a point to maintain that presence."
