Here is my short list of albums I wish you would be re-released so I can add them to my collection:

Mizik Mizik – Farinay (the true debut album)
Sakaj’s debut album
Zin - Fem Vole – I have this album on vinyl.
Triomecs – I’m not sure of the title but it had a song called Tribulation I think.
Pitit Pitit – I think there debut and ONLY album. Funky you know the one. Wink
Papash - Fas a Fas - I also have this album on vinyl.

I have some compliation cds & some BEST OF with SOME of the songs from the groups above but they usually just feature 1 - 3 songs at best of the actual album itself.

The purpose of this post is kind of selfish but I just think if we voice our requests, maybe, just MAYBE an artist or group may consider doing it. Very Happy Also, maybe some of these albums are available and we just don’t know where to go, so if any of my KM members knows where we can purchase these albums please share.

Forget re-releasing, how about making some of the great CDs available again? Many works have run out of stock and there's no reprinting effort. The biggest names out there with that problem are Zekle, Raoul Denis (multiple albums), and Kassav. You have no idea how many people come and ask me for CDs from those artists and others, and I keep having to tell them the product they want is not on the market. It makes no sense to me.

LadyK,

If I remember correctly, Zin's Fem Vole was one of two singles the band released in the late 1980s. Their first album, Opa, featured Fem Vole.

Gro, trust me on this I had the vinyl of "Fem Vole" and it was so old that another girl was on the cover and it was not Maggy Foreste or Georgy. But her name escapes me at the moment I think her last name was Caze.

OPA is Zin's sophomore album.

OPA is NOT Zin's first album. IT IS THEIR SECOND. FEM VOLE is ZIN's FIRST ALBUM. It also features EDDY ST-VIL singing "PA DEKOURAGE". ALAN CAVE has a nice song in there that I like a lot called "VINI".

GEORGY & MAGGY were NOT even featured on the covewr of the album. At the time it was ZSHEA and Alex's first wife that were the chorists.

Opa is their SECOND ALBUM.
