The countdown has begun; May 19th is fast approaching and the 9th Annual Compas Festival is just around the corner. Once more, Noel & Cecibon/Harmony Records would truly like to thank everyone for the continuous feedback and suggestions, as well as the amazing and constant support and interest received to date. As previously stated, the festival should and will be an occasion for us to show the world how proud we are to be Haitians. Our key focus remains our dedication to broaden the exposure of the Haitian culture by reaffirming our commitment to the development of Konpa.
We would like to remind all that the VIP section is limited to 150 seats. Please make sure you’re submitting your RSVPs sooner rather than later, as space is quickly filling up. Again you can do so by either calling Noel Records at (305) 945-8814 or emailing me directly at Sassoune1913@yahoo.com. Once I received verification of your payment, I will follow up by issuing a confirmation email that will contain your access code. For those who attended last year, this year’s VIP section will be much more grandiose. The layout has been finalized and it is, if I must say, quite impressive.
More importantly, the deadline to request press passes is approaching. The cutoff date is set for April 6, 2007. As previous years’ festivals, Press Passes are exceedingly limited and will be subject to approval and availability*. Requests must be emailed directly to Sassoune1913@yahoo.com.
The official press conference is scheduled for Thursday May 17th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at Bongos Night Club. For more information contact Alexa Louis for detailed information on applying for credentials by calling (954) 935-6980 or writing to Sassoune1913@yahoo.com for applications.
*Radio Stations are limited to 1 Press Pass per station, Television stations are limited to 2 per station and Websites, Magazines or Newspapers will receive 1 Press Pass per entity.
NO REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 6, 2007 – NO EXCEPTIONS!
Noel & Cecibon/Harmony Records is also providing an exciting array of Pre and Post celebrations. T-Vice/Nu Look will follow the press release on Thursday night at Bongos. The official Kick off Parties with Kreyol La/Djakout Mizik at the Ramada Hotel, T-Vice/CaRiMi at Bongos will be held on Friday May 18th, and Sunday May 20th will witness the two after parties, Kreyol La/T-Vice at Bongos and Djakout Mizik/Zin at Spirit Night Club. A special package deal will be offered to those who purchase more than one ticket at once.
We will feature a raffle during the festival, where we will draw a 2007 Mercedes C240 as 1st prize, 2 round trip tickets to Europe as 2nd prize and a 42” Plasma TV as 3rd prize.
Please join us for this fantastic celebration of unity, creativity and culture. The 9th Annual Haitian Compas Festival will be without a doubt an event to remember. Noel and Cecibon Productions, as well as Harmony Records strive to always bring you the best in one of the biggest Haitian events in the country. Join us as we’re celebrating Hatian Flag Day. Don’t miss it! _________________ Du balcon de mon intelligence, je refuse de m'abaisser au rez de chaussee de votre ignorance.... |
