I'd like to ask Kunta or Staff or Jay or anyone else to prove me wrong but I think TABOU COMBO has been the greatest Haitian band ever to exist for what they have accomplished nationally and internationally for Haitian music.

si Tabou pat la a la fin des annees 80... kassav t'ap kouri ak kompa...
neg zouk yo te soti pou yo antre kompa... men malheureusement yo oublie la bande a shoubou...

Yeah Zip, Kok I remember those years when Kassav faisait un de ces malheurs. I do agree about the fact that Tabou saved us but I also remember System came along with Anita and some other hits qui ont fait grand dommage a Kassav.
I've met many people from Columbia, Panama, Cameroun etc.. and they all know Haitian Music through Tabou. They have done what no other bands have done in their time. |

| Princesse (don't get me wrong, I am a huge T-Vice fan) but I think even the VICE crew will agree that they will have to bow down in front of Tabou in terms of accomplishment and notoriety. |
