BREAKING NEWS!

My sources tell me that at a 509 EMERGENCY MEETING held last night, KENNY DESMANGLES basically gave his word to the 509 crew that HE WILL STAY WITH THE BAND.

One of the conditions that he gave was that A LOT OF THINGS HAD TO CHANGE IN THE GROUP in order for him to proceed. It was basically A DONE DEAL that Kenny would be going to Zenglen, but it seems that at the last minute he changed his mind. My sources tell me that he will tell the guys from Zenglen of his decision today.

KENNY will ALSO go to Haiti to tour with Zenglen in order "to save the bals"....

But my sources tell me that at the 509 meeting last night, KENNY DESMANGLES has apparently told the guys that HE IS STILL DOWN WITH 509, although that decision came BARELY.

It sounds like a DIDI SANTANA DEJA VU all OVER AGAIN.

Why is 509 considering themselves a BAND, anyone knows the last time 509 had a gig? To me if you are not booked at least 5 times a month you are not in business, the band is just a Passtime.

DABENZ did NOT turn Zenglen down as far as I know.

One of the musicians told me that they did not ask DABENZ to come replace Reginald and Frero because he has a lot of respect for DOUBY. DOUBY was one of the first guys to call Zenglen when he found out that the two singers were on strike.

We do not know NOW if the plan will change now that KENNY has decided to stay with 509.

You're right Neg... 509 is not really a band. Last time they performed was for their live album release party in what...??? Sept.?I love you Kenny, but loyalty does not always pay the bills and put food on the table sweety. Most mucisians would bend over backwards for an oppotunity like this.

They should not mess with Douby.
For those of you who dont know him, Douby is a very classy guy and he's done a lot for the HMI.
Holding a band together for more than 25 years is no easy task.

to actually choose 509 over zenglen that means there must be a major change in 509, but ki major change konsa, djazz pap perfome, pa gin gig, lagen pap rentrer...i mean ...anyways it doesn't make sense to me , i wouldn't be surprise if later on you hear another story
