 |
|
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Kisa Ou KA di nou sou edition 2016 festival la svp?
DHAITI: "It's going to be very exciting especially with the lineup. We have lots of new upcoming bands/artists that have a lot of followers that can't wait to see them perform."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What makes this edition different than previous ones you had?
DHAITI: " We wanted to introduce something different to the fans by exposing some of the new artists for our festival like Roody Roodboy, Xtassy, Harmonik and many more."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Quite a few festivals in the business happening do you believe that Orlando is ready to make its mark on the market with this festival? Why?
DHAITI: "If there is a place, Orlando should be the place to have a festival because Orlando represents the touristic capital of the world and we are also a family oriented city. Orlando has so much to offer specially to our Caribbean people."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: You have quite a few top bands in the festival, at the same time, why no Nu Look, Kreyol La, and Djakout? Was it by choice or.....?
DHAITI: "We wanted to introduce something different and new. We also didn't want the same lineups that are out there at other festivals all the time. Having said that, it's still a possibility to add some of the names mentioned, but it's based on popular demand.'
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Is Nu Look out of the festival because of your close affiliation with Klass?
DHAITI: "Affiliation has nothing to do with that. I'm a business man that's focusing on doing business. I don't choose one and neglect others. We are here to promote our Haitian music and other Caribbean cultures. But, there is still room for Nu-Look to participate."
