A well known vocalist of a top HMI band is angry and seems to have lost his respect for a musician who doubles up as a CD shop owner/distributor because of what he feels is a lack of respect.

He is telling friends that numerous calls made to the cd seller for over 3 months have gone unanswered; so he is under the impression that he is being given the LALOZ MOVE in terms of $$$$$$ for his CD.

We're not sure if the cd seller is pocketing the money and has yet to give him a call back; or if the cd seller is just not telling him that the cd is not selling; but whatever it is......A TELEPHONE CALL BACK TO THE ARTIST would sure go a long way to resolving this BREWING FRUSTRATION/MISUNDERSTANDING.

Well obviously you are talking about Triomph Muzik since you mentioned the former Antilles Mizik.
Well for the sake of a good debate and fair discussion, I have contacted the owner and he told me that the store is back in full operation. He acknowledge that indeed they were closed from December 2md to the 9th due to some tax issues that has now been resolved.
Here in America, such issues like audit, bankruptcy, permanent closure, temporary closures happened everyday to all kinds of business. Even Donald Trump admitted that he had to cry bankruptcy on some of his businesses. What's important is to be able to bounce back and even jump higher.
I think at this moment and in this holiday season the best thing that we should do as a community is to show some support not only to Triomph Muzik but to all our Haitian businesses in N.Y, Florida, Canada, DMV,Boston and everywhere that we Haitian immigrants made the effort to open a business that is serving the needs of our society, and most of all bringing Haitian products that are either rare to find or even impossible to find at other places.

I didn't get in the debate of the artst...yes indeed that could be wrong because the article never mentioned who or which production company was involved.

My answer is to the poster Maladmizik that ASSUMED that it was Triomph Muzik which is the store that is at the location where Antille Mizik used to be and Maladmizik even refer to the owner as the bate (bateur) and we all know that the owner of Triomph Muzik is a drummer. So I think at first you should have told Maladmiziik that he was wrong in his ASSUMPTION.
