*KOMPA MAGAZINE: When ZIN and Phantoms had a rivalry in NYC, the 2 bands helped put the NYC market on the map. Now, even though NYC has a few bands, to everybody, CARIMI is really the cream of the crop. How much does NO RIVALRY/NO CHALLENGE..NO 2 BAND POLEMIK has to do with NYC not having bands KAP MININ?
ALAN CAVE: "In my opinion the market is no longer the same. The affiliation of Bands to specific States is practically non-existent as most Bands seem to play more often elsewhere than in their hometown.
If we get into the logic of rivalry between bands; that too seems to have taken another turn. Most Bands aren't competing against new bands. New bands are the fragment of an old band! Therefore, an interesting rivalry would be to see Carimi disunite into 3 different bands. Mimi, Riri & Caca. Lol."
