Got a call from a party promoter who apparently was NOT too happy about the messages he saw coming from a group on social media talking about how the weekend was a major success.
Not sure what it is, but the promoter told me that he was at one of those parties that the band was part of this weekend, and he CLAIMS that the party did NOT have more than 150 people at a party that he says should have had much more than that considering how high profile the party was.
The promoter said this "I understand that a band needs to keep the fan base motivated and the business flowing and all, but when you blatantly lie on social media where a lot of people are reading what you are saying; you must not forget that there are people that were also there at the places that you are claiming were great. SI SE PA VRE...PA BAY MANTI...JUST BAY PEUPLE LA YON LOT PAWOL SAN OU PA BAY MANTI. I could not believe what I was reading from this group today. I was there at one of the parties...please stop. Please stop lying to the fans because there are people that were there and they know the truth. I HATE THAT."
PS: We chose NOT to name the group that the promoter was talking about.

I dont like to resort to name calling but this guy is a complete imbecil 
WTH does he think a bands job is.... Last time I checked if a band plays a gig and gets paid for they have done their job.
Its not their responsibility to report that a party with low turnout was unsuccessful..and even if it was 50 people in the building..if they walked away satisfied., then the band did their job.
Grow the hell up Mr. Promoter and stop trolling a bands fan page to get scoops....bagay kouto 2 bo net! |
