 |
|
___________________________________________________
Some people were asking us, so we went straight to JUBE for the answer.
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Why is BADI no longer in the group? Did he leave or was he kicked out?
JUBE: "Badi was not kicked out, nor replaced, it's just him and T-Micky no longer share the same musical vision, so he is moving on doing his own thing and T-Micky is doing the same. There are no animosities between them. It's just as simple as two parties evolved with different musical ideologies and move on. These things happen everyday in the music business. Badi was a percussionist for T-Micky and also did some writing as well! But our focus remains on the brand "T-Micky" we wish him the best in all his present and future endeavors."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Did T-MICKY and the rest of his band/musicians go their separate ways, or was it only him?
JUBE: "The entire band which was Badi on Congas, Kiki on guitar, and Roldy on bass; all of those musicians went their separate ways, but sadly, Badi is the only one who seems to have an issue. But T-Micky has surrounded himself with professional musicians to help him achieve his musical goals. Musicians and bands go their separate ways all the time, from Kreyola to Klass etc all experienced other groups."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Is it your take as T-Micky's manager/advisor that THIS CURRENT BAND is better/stronger than the one he had before or no?
JUBE: "Undoubtedly Yes ! Everyone in this band are experienced professional musicians."

i could be wrong but i think one of the problem was, Tmicky didn't allow Badi to shine as he should
remember in 2014 he released a carnival track just for fun, and that track (byè k'lan men'w) was wayyy hotter and became a megahit, more popular than t-micky carnival track at that time, the worst part he didn't even play that on the float, which tells me Badi didn't take that too lightly.
I joked about that with him on social media he laughed it off
but in conclusion, I think Badi needed some room to grow and show his talent but T-micky wouldn't allow it and wanted him to stay in the shadow.
talented Kid and very funny dude, he has a bright future, i'm pretty sure we'll be hearing from him soon, as he is always in the studio working.
i'm, glad he left _________________ K- ONPA
