KM spoke to PAPA JUBE about his artist T-MICKY regarding....READ BELOW.



*KOMPA MAGAZINE: T-Micky's new song/video; is that a MUSICAL SHIFT in terms of direction of the artist; or is it a strategic move with one song to target a specific market?

JUBE: "T-MICKY's new song "VAKANS" is a combination between him feeling inspired living in Haiti for the past few months, and feeling the nostalgia of leaving, as he prepares to begin school at the New School of Arts, in Manhattan, NY pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Music.

The story of this song is quite simple. He called me one day and said, Jube, I think I came up with something that expresses that feeling I was telling you about!!! I said, let me hear it, he sent it to me. As usual, I listen and give him precise feedback. However, when I heard that track, I knew it had a vibe. So, I said, let’s run with it, and we got together with our team, brought it to Jerry Wonda & Arden Altino from Platinum Sounds to enhance the music. We got our visual team to fly to Haiti from NY and collectively, we shot the entire video in few days in Haiti.

It’s a “Feel Good” track, we are targeting the world community, the song is already licensed to “Zumba World wide” the music will dictate the rest of the story !!! Who feels it Knows it !!!!"
