My phone was going crazy last night with people that wanted me to get some more information about that shooting in Delmas 7 where bandits shot and kill Coupe Cloue Junior the son of the legendary musician Coupe Cloue.
I didn't want to believe it until I made contact with one of his close friends who used to support his regular program in the past years. That person indeed confirm (at that time) that the young artist was shot and that he was taken to the hospital.
I quickly made contact with Eddy Louis who is one of Coupe Cloue's younger brother and ex gonguist of Scorpio, Eddy had no clue that his nephew was shot until I broke the news to him. His other uncles Patrick and Sony Louis (Ti Boeuf) the ex drummer of Les Difficiles are actually in Haiti and Eddy told me that he will make contact with them in the morning.
Other members of the HMI and the press that are close to Coupe Cloue Junior later confirmed that the artist died because he received many bullets...people are talking about five and some even said eight bullets. No matter how many it was, the killer or killers really made sure that they didn't leave him any chance to survive.
I know it's going to be a terrible morning for the Louis family especially that they recently lost Ti Nes (Ernst Louis) the ex drummer of Coupe Cloue's band who died in Boston.
Coupe Cloue Junior was the only artist in Haiti that was playing the songs of his legendary father and keeping alive the Compas Mamba.
He was recently in Florida at the Compa Festival chilling with friends and members of the media...

Very sad news!
I had the opportunity to see him perform live, for the first and now only time, at the Renaissance Hotel in Haiti last February.
My sincere condolences to his friends and family!

How tragic and heartbreaking. My condolences to his family and friends.
I hope those involved in this attack are brought to justice and held accountable for this heinous act.
