INVAINCU

Sa vle di ke jis kounye a ankenn jazz pako bat kreyol la....ankenn jazz pako mete do Kreyol la atè...
I think Kreyol La has been through a lot lately especially in the past year...Yes they found a way to overcome the problems, and they have been a strong team but UNCONQUERED or INVAINCU is a complete different word....

Whatever happened to Kreyol La was just "INTERNAL PROBLEMS" that got nothing to do with a BATTLE in any form or shape. So if you are talking about INVAINCU it got to do with several battles like Floyd Mayweather is INVICTUS...
COURAGEOUS would be a better choice because COURAGE is the quality of MIND or SPIRIT that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc...Since Ti Joe wanted to use a LATIN word for the cd (if that was the case) the following could have been good as well:animus - virtus - fortitudo audentia...but not INVICTUS...

If we were to take this to the level of the HMI artists who sometimes think that the HMI is a battle arena...well here is then the current state of Kreyol La if we consider the following questions
How many times this band was the CHAMP of the carnival in Haiti...? or other places like Labor Day?
How many times that this band was chosen to close a major show like the Konpa Festivals Florida/N.Y/ Canada and other places?. How many times this band was selected to close a major show like LNDJ?
So help me here INVICTUS based on what?...overcoming internal problems?

I like this band so much that it is the only reason I will go to Florida for the Konpa Fest weekend even if I don't go the festival. I really like the Evolution album and I sure will get the new one as soon as possible. I want some good Kreyol La in my system. That's one Haitian band that I enjoy watching live. I may go to N.Y for their up coming show,and I think that we will have them in the DMV soon too, but I still feel that this title is another example that Ti Joe think too much of himself and his band...
Definition INVICTUS pa gen anyen pou li wè ak sa ou pase sè denye tan yo...
jazz la gen problem intern management jere pwoblem intern...muzisyen ale muzisyen kite yo ramplase muzisyen...sa rive nan tout jaz...ou pa konn yon jazz ki rele System Band...mezanmi sa jazz sa pase...

You broke it down so well that I feel compelled to congratulate you on that. Great Job, bro. As a Kreyol la fan, you put your emotions on the side and teach the KM members that "Invinctus" is the wrong choice as a title to illustrate what Ti Djo meant to convey.

Anpil fwa, se paske yon djaz kraze oswa andikape kifè yon lòt kreye. Kit se yin endividu kit se yon group tankou yon djaz, li ka chwe, chavire, ''vaincu'' akoz difikilte entèn.
