T-VICE and DJAKOUT#1 are without a doubt the hottest kanaval rivalry in the business. It has been like that for years, and there are currently NO SIGNS that another rivalry will take its place anytime soon.
Having said that, when it comes to DOING BUSINESS TO MAKE $$$$$$ "TOGETHER", in my opinion, they get a huge "ZERO BARE" in my book. Why? Check this out.
Those 2 groups have ONLY PLAYED 2 TIMES in a regular bal setting. Once in New York, and the other time I believe it was in Haiti. No matter how HOT or COLD both bands are during any period, when February comes around TOUT MOUN RETIRE KOW YO because they know it's TVICE/DJAKOUT time. The buzz as to WHO WON usually lasts about 1 week or 2 after kanaval before things die down. As businessmen, both groups FAIL to take advantage of that KANAVAL MUSCLE to generate more revenue $$$$ for themselves.
MY PROPOSITION:
A) Every year about 1 or 2 weeks after kanaval is over, BOTH GROUPS should get together in a BAL/CONCERT setting and do a party TOGETHER.... called "KANAVAL AFTERMATH" where they can say DOSSIER KANAVAL LA PRAL FINI LA SOU STAGE SA. They can either choose to do it 2 ways. DECIDE TO CHOOSE 1 CITY every year where they will play that party. One year could be NYC, the next could be MIAMI, the next could be BOSTON, the next MONTREAL, the next HAITI; or they can go with option 2 and do a mini tour of those 4 or 5 cities for the year to generate MORE HEAT throughout the year for the feud.
The heat for the feud seemed to cool down a bit because the fans saw SHABBA being too friendly with the Martino brothers; but it always seems to HEAT UP at the right time with something that explodes not too long before kanaval. That is a rivalry that I think that can generate a lot of money for both bands THROUGHOUT THE YEAR or ONCE A YEAR AFTER KANAVAL if they choose to work together and make it happen. Can you imagine the hype just before a party like that...just a mere 1 or 2 weeks AFTER KANAVAL? PAWOL ANPIL LA AP TOUJOU CHO KOU DU FEU!
T-VICE/DJAKOUT....DON'T WAIT until you guys get older and when the heat dies down before thinking about doing something like that. The feud is still in its PRIME......LI CHO TOUJOU...TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!
PUT YOUR OWN MONEY OUT...& BE THE PROMOTERS OF THE PARTY YOURSELVES...and I MUST ALSO ADD...SE KANAVAL SEULEMENT KI POU JWE nan show sa yo

Carnival aftermath bal is a clever idea. They should seriously consider it. Yo tap fe gro kob. The only issue may be that gen de serie de kal ou pran sou beton 3 ans suivi, gen youn nan djazz yo ki ka pa vle paret tete li menm lol..... joke aside i hope the guys think about it.

Pat neg yo ka jwe et sense jwe mizik kanaval. But kanaval poutou soiree a ka fatiguant. 1er set la ka yon mix de mizik chofe ak ti mizik douce epi 2 eme set la chofe ak kanaval selman.
