*KOMPA MAGAZINE: You have been through it with BANG BANG. How difficult is it for a band to release a 2nd CD following a HUGE HIT DEBUT CD? What are the PITFALLS…what are the DO’S and DONT’s for bands that find themselves in the same situation. KLASS is NEXT

RICHARD CAVE: "First of all When we made "Bang Bang "we were really young and we didn't know that it was going to be a big hit. We were touring non stop and didn 't have time to go to the studio. We knew one thing: the second album would determine if we were there to stay.

BANG BANG was an international hit. It was 67 on the top chart in FRANCE. You will not have a MEGA hit like this every single time but you have to work hard to try to have one.

1) The first thing is not to get too comfortable.

2) Always think that there is someone that is watching you, observing you, will eventually copy you ect... That is part of the game.

3) Stop playing unnecessary gigs to make a few bucks and concentrate on your second album. (If your album was a hit you made enough money to survive)

4) The last important thing "DO NOT BURN BRIDGES". Leur abandone moun ki te few monte, yap essaye pa tout moyen pou ke ou pa reussi on deuxieme fois Pou yo di "AHH se mwen ki te kon aidez yo mwen pa la ankor" gad sak rive yo.

But this is not a first one for Ritchie. He knows the game. KLASS will be fine."

I have been thinking about that for some time now in reference to the 3rd advice.
But too bad I'm just a simple fan without a voice.
After that France tour the band should take some time off and focus on the album to create that buzz factor. Sometimes it's better to take a step back to move forward. My 2 cents

Very solid points by Richard. I don't think Klass burns any bridge that I am aware of. Richie knows the game and Klass has plenty of unrecorded hits to make another big splash in the HMI. Although, it is not easy to replicate the noise this current CD is doing now but time will tell. I am also confident that Klass will stay on the top of the chart period.
