OCHENDO DAMUS and the group ZIN go way back in terms of history. He has a very popular TV show in New York "AYITI KREYOL" that also backed up ZIN in more ways than one. He spoke to KM about ZIN/PHANTOMS 2 and.....
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Ou te ale nan ZIN/PHANTOMS la?
OCHENDO: "NON. Men sa pat enteresem."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Poukisa? Jan ou te nan dossier ZIN/PHANTOMS sa a lepok? Mwen te la mwen tap suiv.
OCHENDO: "Pluzieur rezon (e m gen rezon personel mwen). Bon Patrick e pa Ou Menm selman non kap mande POU ki rezon m pat la. *KOMPA MAGAZINE: for those that don't know, tell them your ties/association affiliation with ZIN/PHANTOMS. I KNOW...but THEY don't.
OCHENDO: "Pat you know I have a lot of respect for Phantoms, but deep in my heart I'm ZIN. Pat my association with Zin goes way back from City College (Where they started) and from there I became involved in promoting just for the love of Zin."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Why were you not invited by the band?
OCHENDO: "To tell you the truth, even if ZIN had invited me, I propably would have declined the invitation."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Why?
OCHENDO: "Maybe if any other promoter would have been involved in that party I would have propably gone to the party but...."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Huh? So your issue is because you were not involved in that party as a promoter; or do you have an issue with Richard Urbain?
OCHENDO: "Well if you wanna put it this way then let it be."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: I am just asking. I don't know.
OCHENDO: "Yes I do have issues with Richard."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Do you mind telling us what those issues might be?
OCHENDO: "First of all Richard has no respect for people. He thinks he can buy everybody with his money; but not me. My other issue with him goes way back since his troublesome past and way beyond that. Due to my personal reasons, I would rather not elaborate on certain issues because that would cause too much damage."
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Are you also not on speaking terms with the guys from Zin?
OCHENDO: "No no no pa dutout. They're all my friends."

Another case of money talk BS walks.
Richard has the money therefor he gets the privilege to do certain things....and you can't cause your money ain't long enough.
Nowadays it seems as if Richard has been the impossible happen, keep doing you my man and let the rest hate. |

I've got respect for Ochendo but he's needs to cut it out... Don't come here and start talking about another man's troublesome past and at the same time act as if "ou pa vle voye pwent"...that's girl stuff... You don't like him for whatever reason that's between you and him... Either fix the situation or keep it to yourself regardless if Pat asked you... Because any way you word it, it's always going to sound like you're hating... Y'all tear each other down more than anything else...
