__________________________________________________________

ANOUCE JOACHIM of NYC based RADIO NAGO gives us HIS take on LNDJ 2015.

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Si ou tap bay LNDJ carnet de 1 a 10...Combien ou tap bay pou show 2015 nan?
ANOUCE: "I would give them 7 sou 10. I arrived at Amazura around 10 pm. When I got there, First of all I did a visual inspection of the place but to my surprise the place was very well prepared for the show. Usually this type of event never starts on time but this year the organizers made sure that the performance time did no go to waste. Xtassy opened the show a little before 11 pm. The reason I didn't give LNDJ a grade of 10 is simply because I feel like the bands did not contribute enough to the promotion of this major event 100% The show up on stage as if they were playing a regular party. I also think that the staff of LNDJ should have prepare a short documentary to show the public how they got to their 10th anniversary."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: The best performance of the night?
ANOUCE: "According to me the best performance of the night was Carimi. I spoke to a few friends in the media outlets who attended the event but we all agreed that Carimi gave the best performance. When Carimi started playing the people who attended the party noticed a major difference compared to the previous bands."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: The performance that you were most disappointed with for the night?
ANOUCE: "I was not disappointed by any bands."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What did YOU think of KLASS' performance?
ANOUCE: "According to what I witnessed that, I don't think there was any difference from a Klass Bal and a Klass concert. To me, it was the same thing. Secondly, Pipo is a singer with a great voice but has a lack of charisma which not only is his greatest weakness; but also makes a huge impact on the band itself because a singer's charisma counts a lot during a live performance, especially in a concert of this magnitude. I also think that Klass needs to stop wasting valuable concert time to imitate the likes of Michael Jackson which is a totally different era. The public pays to see a Kompa band to perform and be creative in their set but not an imitation of Michael Jackson."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Klass is the most popular band in the HMI right now. Many fans like what they are doing....and their performance at LNDJ according to some that I have spoken to was a good one. Are you being too hard on the band or not?
ANOUCE: "Everybody is entitled to their own opinions. I'm not speaking from a fan's standpoint but from a media personality standpoint. I must say that I never say that Klass didn't have a good performance. However, My main focus was on Pipo's charisma in a concert format and his management of the public. When Carimi came on stage after Klass, I noticed a big difference in terms of performance because Carimi not only has concert experience but they also respect the concert format in terms of musical performances where Klass is lack of."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Thoughts on T-VICE's performance?
ANOUCE: "To me T-VICE had a very good performance, and vocal wise, Roberto was on top of his game and as for the new singer Regi muzik he did his thing despite the fact that the public doesn't know him well enough to embrace him like they did embrace Oli Duret. The sound crew did a wonderful job for T-VICE everything was on point. The only bad thing i noticed was when Roberto was using profanity and foul language as if he was Sweet Micky and I think that was uncalled for. T-VICE is not known as a band that uses profanity on stage especially during a concert."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: X-TASSY?
ANOUCE: "As for X-TASSY. When I first arrived at Amazura, X-TASSY had just begun checking their sound. I stepped out, then by the time I came back, they were playing their last song therefore, I can not give you a full review of their performance but from what I saw, they seem to have some potentials to make it in the HMI."

Woue papa!

Nan ki Amazura missye te ye?

Stop lying to people in order to promote yourself and your entourage. Your version of event is so contrary to others. Haters are always going to be haters. I reported on the Amazura event last year between Nulook and Klass I was very fair as a Klass fan but you are only promoting your interest. Shame on you.

Pat,

This is your forum, no one can tell you how to run it. However, when we have a fake journalist that has no credibility to come here and pew lies. I question the post and the purpose of the post. Although that's his opinion but he is so one sided my grand kid at the age of 8 can read it his post and describe it as bias as bias can be. What a shame!!!!!!!!

THE TITLE OF THE POST SAYS IT ALL...his opinion of LNDJ...is that not clear in the post title?

He gave his opinion of the DIFFERENT BANDS that performed that night. KLASS is not the only band that he spoke about so DON'T TURN IT INTO A KLASS post.

You might not agree with what he had to say about KLASS' performance, as I myself also brought up what I had heard from some other people; but that does not mean that he can't have HIS opinion.

Pat,
Is it a journalist's job to be objective: tell it like it is or subjective where one has his own opinion of the facts.

If you are a journalist and your opinion tends to lead to one direction as opposed to balance the facts and being neutral, therefore, that so called journalist has only one ulterior motive and that is to bring down one side and advocate for the other.

I did say that's his opinion but he shouldn't call himself a journalist just for that night period but a partisan.

pandan misye ap blabla de Pipo lack of charisma banm yon lot chanteur lan HMI la kap fe sa lap fe sou stage lan, ki pi konekte ak piblik la.
leu yon jazz ap menen le plus souvan se chanteu ya ki rale moun sou jazz la.
Misye ap pale de Pipo ki te nan nu look la, se pa Pipo ki lan Klass la ki pa gen charisma.
bay misye papye paskeu li fet sal kol laa
