Former T-VICE bass player GERALD KEBREAU had this to say about the new T-VICE songs just released.
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Your thoughts on the 2 new TVICE songs
GERALD KEBREAU: "I think the one called NSA is a great track and Congrats to Marvens and Regi on it. I think it's a club friendly song although I do feel there's no T-Vice "signature" stuff on it ;but it's still good since I'm sure they're looking to diversify their style a bit. I will take advantage of this moment to tell Regi welcome to the HMI I think he has great potential to make some noise.
On the other track YOK POU PE, I felt a tendency to go back to the old grooves which brought me back 12-13 years back; but there is one thing that I noted which annoyed me a little, that's the chorus line at 2:09 ressembles too much the chorus at 4:00 of Djakout's "La Fwa" although they're on different chords. I'm talking specially about the one that says "problem pap jam fini" on the Djakout song and there lies the potential for accusations of lack of originality. Congrats to Felder on that track he is a bad boy on bass; then again maybe i'm being too picky lol...
Overall they're good tracks and I think especially NSA will work very well for them."

Bon mwen tande both songs i do not see any part that sounds like Lafwa, may be my ear is wrong but i listen to them closely and i do not see that.....
Anyway glad to see Gerald renmen mizik djazz la.
Yok pou pè will make lots of nouses for t-vice, it is really catchy and groovy..... But t-vice should have a video with that song they ahould not wait too long to do that

| The man is right...I thought the melody from "La Fwa" chorus was taken from a gospel song. I assumed that was the reason why T-Vice chose to use the same melody. But, at the end of the day, T-Vice produced two great songs. |
