T-VICE/DJAKOUT HMI BAL TOUR ON THE HORIZON SAYS.......(Read Below)
The producer tells KM that his plan is to sign the buy the rnext T-VICE studio CD; which would then give him the option to promote both albums (Djakout/T-Vice), by doing an HMI tour of the two bands together in different top cities in the HMI.
Will he pull it off? A suivre.
One thing is for sure...when it comes to his plans...T-PAUL Demesmin pa paret pent get li seulement non...LI PARET TOUT KOL.

Much respect to T-paul but I think the focus at this time should be about promoting djakout cd to the best of his ability. I know my boy loves the exposure but business wise there's no need to be talking about releasing your rivalry cd when you just dropped djakout cd. It would be wise to focus on a marketing strategy for this cd, the band has a very nice album with alot of potential hit songs. _________________ "If you don't follow your dreams, some will hire you to follow theirs |

You read my mind bro. The Djakout album just came out so his best bet is to focus on getting that exposure and putting a marketing plan together that will have the album reach all corners of the world. Once that album has been properly marketed, distributed and the momentum of the album is peaking, then look for a match up with the rival band. Also keep in mind that the rival band will be coming out with an album also. Strategy and planning is the only thing that's going to make this profitable and successful. It's not a party or tour that can be thrown together just like that. Just my 2 cents.

JPerry.... I think the biggest problem with the HMI is that, most of these artists are very good at producing great songs, but Mediocre when it comes to marketing. Neg yo fe anne nan studio ap product, but they can't even spend 2 days working on a real marketing plan. _________________ "If you don't follow your dreams, some will hire you to follow theirs |

You're right and on the other hand, these so called producers/labels that pay one lump sum for the album are an issue too. In that situation both the distributor, which is what they really are, and the bands/artists are to blame. Once the band gets that lump sum, they focus on the live circuit and don't really care about the marketing that's being done about the album paske kob la fet deja. Little do they know that if the marketing plan is solid enough, they can bank so much more if the contracts are well written and rules are followed.
Ou minm ave'm nap gin pou'n bouke pale bagay sa because the business won't change. We need a Haitian Music Association to put some structure in this chaos. It's coming....
