BERNIER SYLVAIN a.k.a BS or BARON SAMEDI (Respected radio personality in the business basically puts the blame on Klass Haiti rep. ZAGALO, as well as manager HERVE BASTIEN on the trouble that took place last night at Distinction Nightclub in La Plaine when KLASS pulled a NO-SHOW when they were supposed to play with KREYOL LA.

That in turn caused some very anxious moments for the promoter, Kreyol La, the club owner and others, who had to sweat it out in terms of what the crowd reaction would be after being told that KLASS would NOT be there.

[b]B.S: "I was supposed to have that party since January, but it was moved to the Summer BECAUSE OF CERTAIN ISSUES. Now after going a round a couple of dates on the calendar we settled on this date, and on this club in La Plaine. It wasn't until 1 A.M when Zagalo showed up at the club while Kreyol La was playing, that he told me that KLASS would NOT show up because maestro RICHIE has DIARRHEA; and he also told me that because of the number of people that were at the party, that I would not have the money to pay the band. Can you believe that? ZAGALO PAKA DI M KE MWEN PAP GIN ASSEZ KOB POU PEYE JAZ LA....PASKE PA GIN ASSEZ MOUN NAN BAL LA. SI SE BAL MWEN...SE MWEN KI KONEN KISA MAP FE. ZAGALO PAKA AP DESIDE BAGAY KONSA POU MWEN. ZAGALO DI M KE KLASS PAP KA VINI JWE LE LI PARET NAN CLUB LA A 1 HEURE DU MATIN.

What I think is that ZAGALO and HERVE saw that the 500 to 600 people that we had at the club did not look good enough for the band's image IN THEIR EYES, so they opted to cancel the group's appearance so that the band would not look bad. KI BAGAY SA? SE YON BAGAY DE IMAGE AK NOMBRE DE MOUN NAN BAL KAP JERE KOUNIEN AN. ZAGALO AK HERVE PRAN DECISION POU KLASS PA JWE PASKE YO WE TE GIN 500/600 MOUNES NAN CLUB LA.

Imagine that I had to go on that stage and announce to the crowd that KLASS is NOT here because ZAGALO told me that RICHIE was sick and had Diarehea? Mwen te oblige monte stage la pou al di public la ke ZAGALO di m ke Klass paka jee paste maestro a gin Diare. Come on. That put many people's lives in danger. I was lucky that the crowd there did not turn violent. PUBLIK LA TE GINDWA VINI VIOLENT epi craze 2/3 bagay nan club la...ou bien bay moun kou. That is NOT professional. LI PA PROFESSIONEL DU TOU.

I spoke to RICHIE this morning and he told me that he indeed was a bit sick, but THAT would not have stopped him from performing. RICHIE DI M MATIN AN KE LI TE GIN DIARE A...MIN KE SA PA TAP ANPECHE LI POU LI TE JWE BAL LA. I could clearly see that Zagalo and Herve led him to believe that I cancelled which is NOT true. Mwen deja we sou jan maestro Richie pale aver mwen an, se ZAGALO ak HERVE ki ba l impression ke nou tap cancel jazz la...ki pa vrai dutou. This was NOT handled well at all by the KLASS management of ZAGALO and HERVE BASTIEN. Se SUR KE ZAGALO AK HERVE PA BIEN JERE SITUATION SA.

I have been to parties in the U.S where bands are playing for LESS PEOPLE than what I had there last night, and there is no problem for the bands to play; so why is it a problem here to play for that amount in Haiti? SE PA TOUT BAL AYITI KE YON JAZ AP FE 2000 MOUN.

The area where the party happened is where many people consider the base of our former president. There is currently a lot of tension in the area because of the trial/court issues that are happening over there; so people might have been reluctant to come down there to party. Still, many people made the trip to attend the party, so that should have been taken into consideration by ZAGALO and HERVE BASTIEN before deciding to take that decision."

Ala kote'w tande koze papa! Tou manti pa fon fòk yo kinbe yo yon jou! Okap lòt jou tt animatè ki pale di ke moune te vini nan bal la late. It was around 11pm and Feu-Vert was not even half full. Normally in Haiti 10pm club is already full and by 11pm what you see is what you get at the club at that time. I was not surprised when I heard Djecee from Mardi Alternative yesterday when he said he left Feu-Vert shortly before 1am and the gate was opened. Yo pa deside pèdi pou anyin yap jwe tout ti vis.
