We caught up with the GROOVE MASTER...TI REGI of DJAKOUT #1 this morning....and he had a rather interesting message to tell us about the first day of Kanaval des Fleurs.
TI REGI: "Kanaval des Fleurs is NOT fun this year. Mwen pa rinmin DEKALAJ HORAIRE SA KAP FET LA LA. I usually prefer when Djakout has competition on the BETON....but this year, there is no competition. It's not fun anymore. T-VICE has a part in their meringue that I like a lot when they say OU PA NAN NIVO SA....well, I can tell you they are right....NOU PA NAN NIVO SA VRAIMENT KE YAP PALE A. Looooooooool. PA GIN COMPETITION POU DJAKOUT ANE SA. Kanaval la raz."

This is KANAVAL and Ti Regi is having fun. Li ap FAROUCHE nèg T-Vice yo bc they were not up to par last night. That what i read from his statement. But somehow you saw "third world mentality"....i'm still trying to get it. Would you care to elaborate? what does that even mean in this context?
