[MINGOLOVE]

About three years ago, words in the HMI were that CARIMI had signed an record deal with some foreign/international label. Weeks later, it was reported that T-Vice had done the same exact thing (signing as well with some other foreign label.. although some HMI insiders had doubted the nature of T-Vice deal.

As far as I remember, both deals were confirmed respectively by the two major bands. At that point, there was a lot of expectations for our music to cross some boundaries in the French West Indies, some French speaking African countries, France etc... since both labels were French West Indies labels. That situation had got some HMI producers very frustrated and there was even some feud between a producer of one of the 2 bands.

But three years later, we all come to witness both bands going back with Haitian records labels, so what's up ?

Did CARIMI and T-Vice supposedly got dropped both by the foreign records labels with which they were respectively signed.... because their albums sales didn't meet the labels expectations?

Did the two bands part ways with their respective label because both bands have been unsatisfied with the lables? Were they promise that the labels didn't keep ?

Have both band realized that their respective label didn't do nothing more that a haitian label couldn't do?


So what the real deal? Why are both bands back, san fè bwi, with Haitian label]?
