NU LOOK Montreal rep. LIONEL L. was not happy that gongist RORO IRENE was not able to make it in Montreal for the party....even though Roro had already spoken to him since four days earlier.
LIONEL L.: "I spoke to RORO as he called me from Haiti asking me if I could redo the ticket for him from Haiti, and this is a ticket that I had purchased from 1 month ago. Unfortunately it would have cost me a lot of money for me to redo the ticket and it was not worth it. Roro should understand that in certain places such as MONTREAL, PARIS and other spots that the band only visits once or two times a year, especially for a cd release party, it is very important that he be there. If it was in Miami, a place considered as LOCAL for Nu Look, that would have been ok, but in Montreal, Roro should have been there in my opinion. I feel very strongly about that."
