My sources tell me that KLASS has been rehearsing with another keyboard player in order to have him as a safety net for T-WES. Sources close to the band tell me that they have not been happy with the way that he has been playing the CD songs LIVE because they have gotten complaints from some fans as well, so they are ADDING the keyboardist JP (Former WATCHOUT member in Boston) to the group. T-WES has NOT been kicked out of the band. BOTH KEYBOARDISTS are scheduled to play in NYC on FRIDAY....unless T-WES decides not to show up.

My sources tell me that the new keyboardist JP will play the KLASS songs from the cd LIVE, and that T-WES if he stays (YO PA FIRE LI) will play songs that are NOT on the cd.

This is not "drama" or a bad look for Klass. It's called seeking improvement & making sure that the band can perform at the highest level possible. It is a business after all; and as such all of the pieces need to perform at a desirable level of proficiency to ensure overall success.
If a musician is not performing to a level that the maestro deems optimal, then he should be replaced. As long as they are frank with T-Wes about their intention it's all good imo.

| By the way, who plays on the CD? I assume is T-Wes based on the credit on the cd. Si neg la paka jwe mizik live ke li jwe sou cd a, misye pa nan batay. I was having that conversation with a friend of mine on my way to the Haiti vs Honduras game that T-Wes pa konvinkant. I used to like him while he was in K-Dans/Beljazz. I dunno what happens to him. |
