With rumors running around the HMI about RORO DJAKOUT "issues" in Orlando, we contacted the drummer to get the lowdown. This is what he
told me.
RORO DJAKOUT: "NO I did not get involved in a fight. Just someone who was trying to be disrespectful towards me, so some fans of the band stepped in to deal with the situation as my bandmates asked me to get in the van and leave because it was not worth it to waste my time arguing with that person. PICO the driver of our van TE TRES FACHE PASKE LI PAT TROUVE KE SA NORMAL POU MOUN AP DERESPEKTE ATIS....LI ESSEYE DEFAN HONEUR MWEN and then we all left after that. NON MWEN PAT BATAY ORLANDO. MWEN PAT PRAN KOU. Some journalists are fabricating stories about that."
We did get a version from a promoter in Orlando that does NOT match what Roro said; but the promoter told us that he was NOT there when the alleged incident happened because he had moved from the spot to go take care of something.
