I honestly don't see that happening. Facebook is unique in that it offers people a platform to express themselves in way that no messaging app has done. It's got the "look at me" effect that a messaging app does not have. People go on facebook to vent and show off. It's capitalizing on a human effect. What may kill off facebook is if they push monetization too much to the point that it becomes an annoyance to the average user.
The same reason people are flocking to netflix and other paid subscriptions and cutting off cable due to the hundreds of contents that don't necessarily pertain to their interests is the same reason why people would be leaving facebook Not because of messaging app as the alternative. _________________ "Mesye bliye chèz la, al nan sena a, oubyen al fè sinema" Beethova Obas. |
