In all fairness...maybe Pat put it wrong since he wrote what was said to him...you don't have the audio of the conversation....
The proverb is: sa se trokèt la...chay la dèyè...To those who may not understand...TROKET is the piece of cloth that the ambulant merchants put on the top of their heads as a protector before they put their heavy load of merchandises...So TROKET precede the LOAD (chay)
