With some HMI insiders buzzing in my ears about THEM hearing that KALIKO (Used to do the MIAMI INDYFEST Festival) was ready to be down with PEDRO LUCKY for his Fort Lauderdale Festival this year...we did our duty by making a call to the man himself GERALD KALIKO...to ask him what the "real" word was. This is what he told me.
GERALD KALIKO: "I am cool with Pedro, but NO, he and I have NOT spoken about anything like that."
When we asked him if it would be IMPOSSIBLE, or if he would SHOOT DOWN the idea of working with Pedro "IF" that possibility presented itself, even if that would put him in a position where he would be competing with friends; this is what he told me.
KALIKO: "I would NOT shoot down the idea because after all IT IS BUSINESS. FRIENDSHIP or not for some people, TOUT MOUN SE TET YO YAP JERE WHEN IT COMES TO BUSINESS...everybody is looking out for themselves when it comes to business, including friends...so THE DOOR IS OPEN."
