 |
|
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What advice do you have for TMICKY since some fans and certain bands ANBA ANBA seem to think he is getting preferential TREATMENT because of his legendary musical Dad Sweet Micky..and also because he is the son of a President? IN a way..ALMOST similar traits/road as when T-VICE was first starting out as the SONS of legend ROBERT MARTINO...before you EARNED your stripes.
ROBERTO MARTINO: He should keep his calm and let his music speak for him. At the end of the day it's all about talent and good music. People will always talk, that should be a motivation for him to prove them wrong! Big Hype and connections can only get you in the spotlight. Good music, Discipline and constant innovations will give you longevity! AYA."

Agree with that statement "At the end of the day it's all about talent and good music." but the kid ain't got no good music. Talent yeah I will give him a little bit of that.
I agree with Roberto nan last statement lan "Big Hype and connections can only get you in the spotlight."
a recent example would be HARMONIK _________________ GAZZMAN COULEUR............THE BEST SINGER NAN HMI LAN......DEMANTI M' SI W KAPAB

agree with Berto statement, well this is the kid first album he has a few nice songs in there, so i assume his music quality will grow day to day. i heard a few live songs he does not sound bad. at the end of the day critics will always be there, good or bad. Hope li pa dekouraje and keep doing what he is doing _________________ BAT CHYEN AN ...TANN MET LI |

Hmmmm.. C pa jwet non Don!
Let's be real here, there is no doubt that he is getting preferential treatment because of his father, pa gen manti nan sa
I personally think he’s coming off a bit egotistical when he really needs check himself and relax! He has done absolutely nothing significant in the HMI (yet) so pa gen de quoi pou l’ap ouvè ko’l konsa! I get that he didn't ask to be Sweet Micky’s son, nor the president’s son; however, c pa yon rezon pou l'ap bat ko'l nan eta sa a non plus!
Be humble / thankful and use all the opportunities you are given to your advantage. C pa arogans / status / connection kap mennen’w lwen, let your talent speak for itself! Play YOUR music and build YOUR crowd / fans; stop riding on your dad’s name / success or else that’s ALL you’ll be known for Li gon paket bann bel ti muzik sou album li an but 90% of the time, c muzik papa'l lap jwe. It makes absolutely no sense to me
Now that you got our attention and the whole world knows about you, it's time for you to show us who the REAL T-Micky is You can play your dad's songs but don't overdo it. Si ou chita c muzik papa'w seulman wap jwe, peson pap janm konnen sa ou gen pou'w ofri.. _________________ Mwen gen lafwa, mwen gen lespwa, peup Ayisyen ap jwenn viktwa!

I wonder how many people commenting on this post actually heard T-micky's album. I'm saying this because whenever the younger generation hears one of his songs, they go crazy.
I'm talking about these songs: Marya, Poun Ale, TMT. As a youth advisor, I'm around young people all the time and these kids can't seem to get enough. They are funny and unique.
I would agree that T-Micky is not promoting any of his songs right now. But saying that they are no good is just plain wrong!
And the whole riding on his dad's name thing is unproven.
Yes he has Jube has a rep. Jube is not stupid. He sees the talent.
Yes he plays sweet Micky songs. So what. What does that have to do with preferential treatment??
Yes he had a float at carnival. In my opinion, he deserved one. In a haitian carnival, he was the only KONPA carnival out there.
Yes he is Micky's song, but what he done to show that he is getting preferential treatment?

They might not be your taste, but if you look around, that's where the new generation of artists is heading.... change your mentality or get left behind. It's that simple.
What does harmonik have to do with this?? _________________ "I think I have managed to pay respect to some of my childhood heroes but my most important work is always ahead of me."
