Things that make you scratch your head.
why oh why some fans take great pleasure whenever a band/artist slip up
but when the very same band accomplish something great those fans won't even drop a line to congratulate or wish this band well.
competition brings the best out of any company, and the fans/consumers are the benificiary, but why these fans would rather see a band that competes with their favorite group perish, out of business...
i understand some of us give a little jab here and there and have fun, but most of us on the board take it to another level. Those same fans always brag about their love for kompa direk, Is it what kompa direk is all about, kraze yon lot pou pam ka paret on top
let's take for example the T-vice drama on labor day, how many pages were posted, people come out of the blue and sign up on KM just to bring their stories, the same for NU look/arly Drama....T-vice rock Bercy and did an outstanding job according to witnesses, not too many congratulate them....Nu look did the same and went up north and kick butt, only a few of us took the time to send kind words for their great accomplishments.
It seems as if those fans said something nice to another "unfriendly band" they might get in trouble with their friends/artists/favorite bands....

I can respect a guy who shows his true color. If he doesn't like a band he let it be known to everyone he doesn't like this band or that band. But neg mwen paka stand yo se neg ki pa renmen yon band epi ap pran poz li renmen band lan. They're putting up a front just to say they like Kompa direk epi manti, ipokrit ki nan ko yo. Premye moun kap vinn sou bod la pale band lan mal se yo, epi kou yo kouri deye yo, yo di se farouch yap bay.

welcome to the HMI Doncue, or should the haitian Mentality, during labor day drama with T-vice and Jn Eddy it shows me how some people just hate t-vice, i mean hate in the true sense of the world. Also lately it shows how some nu look Fan hate gazzman, not disip but just gazzman and its vice versa.

im not a djakout fan but from now and then i listen to their music or joke around but i never hope anything bad happen to any those djakout guys, cause at the end of the day they help t-vice get better make more efforts, same goes for carimi, kreyol la, Nu look etc.. so we need all those bands to exist so one day Kompa a ka international vre.

So Doncue we can debate bout it all we want and it is not gonna change paske rayisab lan nan san 3/4 haitien so problem saw we la se nan racine nou li soti it aint gonna change

It's ALWAYS been the case and it's quite sad if you think about it. Some fans almost SALIVATE when some news story comes out and it puts a band they don't like in a bad light and it practically PAINS those same fans when a positive story comes out on the band.

I like to give all bands encouragement because lord knows we have enough negative press in our community why add to it. The only time I get negative is when our artists/bands take us the fans for granted or take us for fools and then they get another side of LadyK that's not quite so lady-like

this post is not about T-vice and NU look specifically
i chose those 2 bands because they went trough some tough times recently before their accomplishment abroad...
same for disip, djakout#1, zenglen, carimi etc.....

Non, its not that serious (wheter is the jabs on KM,
voye monte, congrats ect...) None of it is to take too personal.

But oui, se vre Don, most of US focus on the negativity.

Hey girlie, we all like to make fun but you have to admit while it may not be serious to you some fans make it their personal mission to be a thorn in a band's side just because that band has some sort of rivalry with a band they like.
