What does the future holds for kompa dirčk?
We have seen several evolutions in our industry, both from a business stand point and also musically. however, as a musician, I'm more concern with the latter. first, I will admit that I'm not an expert on every aspect of the business but I will try to convey my thoughts in the best possible manner.
We have seen many musical evolutions in the HMI. Albeit Compas isn't where It could structurally, musically and business wise, It would be unfair to not acknowledge the fact that substantial amount of progresses have been made over the years. We've seen the emergence of different styles in different eras. Now, I'm constantly pondering on one question. What's next? Where do we go from here? In my opinion, the styles of Djakout & Carimi have dominated the last decade and are style prevalent today; consequently, in my opinion, I feel that the industry is more or less saturated with their style. So, this question is for you guys, what's next? Where do we go from here? what might become the next big trend musically, stylistically, and how business is conducted? Can someone paint me a vivid picture of the HMI in 2021? |
