On many songs/cds, top HMI artists make shoutouts to certain Haiti radio personalities as a way to GIVE LOVE to certain media people. Sometimes it is done on the band's behalf, and other times, the lead singer takes the sole responsibility of doing the verbal salute....sometimes that's a legitimate salute to a "personal" friend of the artist or bands, other times it is done as a way to "secure" playtime on the radio personality's daily shows in Haiti. Other times, it is the bands' managers who make the move by thinking that they need to secure the good graces of certain "key" radio personalities in Haiti, to make sure that their groups/bands "BIEN PASSE" in the motherland.
So...WHY is it now that we're getting "VIBES" that certain artists/bands would prefer that certain HAITI RADIO PERSONALITIES "shut up" if their opinion is not of a positive light towards their bands? Why is it that we're hearing that some people see it as some sort of "revolt" if certain Haiti radio personalities don't FOLLOW THE SCRIPT if they give opinions that are not favorable to their bands. In other words,
*MWEN BA'W SHOUTOUT SOU CD
*MWEN TE ACHETE AIRPLANE TICKET POU OU
*MWEN TE PEYE BILL SA POU OU
So...U HAVE NO RIGHT POU AP BLAZE JAZZ MWEN or PWODUI MWEN KONSA
Therefore no need to tell you that it does NOT sit well with some bands in the HMI when scenarios like this occur when HAITI RADIO PERSONALITIES DI SA YO PENSE.....

How can they be honest if they're accepting gifts from bands or artists.
Made their job harder.
Musicians/friends of the band so they can go tell...

Problèm nan se animatè radio yo ki pou konnen se professionel yo ye pou yo pa kite pèsonn moun achte yo , pou yo ka fè travay la normal.

I think some of you might be missing the main point. The main point being that DESPITE that, sometimes you DO have radio personalities WHO DO GIVE THEIR HONEST OPINIONS about certain subjects on the bands, and if it is NOT to the bands' liking....YO FACHE!
