KOMPA MAGAZINE gets the "STREET VIBES" or SON LA RI A in regards to the latest cds from NU LOOK and HARMONIK.
We spoke to FRITZ DUVERGER of FACTOR MIZIK in Brooklyn, one of the most popular stores in the NYC area, we spoke to EZ (Good Taste Restaurant) who has one of the hottest restaurants with HMI VIBES (Bals/Tickets...With a huge flow of Haitian music lovers/customers) in NYC...SI yon bagay ap passe nan la ri a...he knows what's going down, and also with MARIO DEVOLCY of TRIOMPH MIZIK, who as we know has one of the most popular stores in NYC as well.

I could honestly watch this video all the day; exceptionally well-presented, raw, hypothetically controversial, and effortless.
The common denominators here seem to be that the album is selling extremely well and Pipo not delivering as anticipated; that’s why I can gather so far.
It is always a joy to hear from Mario Devolcy…

Great job pat, this is just a great video.
I can hear Mario devolcy talks about kompa direk all day long. I love his opinion when it comes to Harmonik and I think he is 100% correct. The most discipline group musically in the HMI is zenglen, and I think Nicky's years in Zenglen are payiing dividend right now. The only thing they need to improve on is the uptempo songs. They have a tendency to be all over the place musically. I do think if they continue to improve at the same rate, they ll be a great band one day.
