It was a Big Night in Little Haiti this past Friday at the Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami, Florida. The Rhythm Foundation & Little Haiti Cultural Center invited us to perform at this cultural series and we gracefully accepted.
We performed on an outdoor stage for a diverse audience consisting of a rainbow of colors and a melting pot of nationalities. No matter the cultural differences, however, everyone embraced us as they sung and danced to the tunes of our music. Folks also had a chance to experience Haitian art, food, and dance during and after our performance.
We thank the Rhythm Foundation and the Little Haiti Cultural Center for granting us the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful initiative. Both Haiti and Little Haiti have a lot to offer. One of those things is music and we are pleased to have been able to offer the non-Haitians and Haitians alike a chance to experience one of the sounds of Haiti--KONPA!
