KOMPA MAGAZINE: If you had to describe in 1 word how the year 2010 was for your band, what would the WORD be and tell us why?
RICHARD CAVE (Carimi): "WONDERFUL". We had the most wonderful year. Nou accompli anpil bagay."

KENNY DESMANGLES (Zenglen): "MALOUK". First the 7.0 earthquake took the hmi by storm. The industry took a hit and never really recovered from that day. We all tried to get business back running, only to get hit again with more bad news with the cholera issue. Approaching the end of the year, we were all hopeful, only to face once again another blow with the result of our elections at home. That forced everyone to cancel their holiday tours in Haiti; also trying to make last minute adjustments, which in the end really hurt more. Pou sa yo rele 2010 yon anne tres MALOUK."

Mwen pap krisifye neg la pou sa. The question was to describe 2010 "for your band." Remember that these guys were in Haiti, saw and lived the devastation. So let's not jump the gun on this one. It was a crappy year for every Haitian. But for his business, it may have been a good year. Nothing wrong with that.

I was a little shocked when i heard Cave said the year was wonderful, then i realized the guy is talking about his band not Haitians or Haiti.
I'm cool with his answer.

How's 2010 was for your band? Wonderful is the answer. And nobody is supposed to criticize that answer. Just take the answer in the context of musical success and be happy with it. Those who don't want to criticize Richard Cave and upset the site administrator would rather keep quiet. Only Canatienne and Neg2byen are men enough to stand in the face of that aberration. How stupidly easy it is for some people to lose their judgement. Richard Cave has answered the question and everybody is cool with that. Or, everybody should be cool with that. That site is not a space for use of judgement. Even less a forum for criticism. If you want to be a critic, just move somewhere else. And the individuals here seem to get the message. You better think like an idiot if you wanna make friends in this forum. You better be brainless if you want anyone to read you around here. People here are just into their musical masturbation. And they are good like that.
