KREYOL LA played some new songs off their brand new cd last night in New York at SOBS. (NOVEMBER 26 - 2010)

KREYOL LA played 4 songs from their new cd. Of course you already know PLON GAYE, as well as the *A*A Voye (That song is known as FRUSTRATION on the cd). The group also played MAP BOURE (It had the crowd going NUTS), a song that TI ANSYTO takes the lead on on the studio cd. That song already "feels" like it's going to do damage on the bal scene when they p[lay it. The other song "AVOUE" also looks like something that is not going to take too long for the fans to get it in their brains. TI JOE and the band made sure that they gave the fans a TEASE of the song earlier in the set, before returning later on to play the entire song.

KREYOL LA seems like they could NOT wait to drop a new cd on the market, so that they could start performing the for the public. Had this been a SOLO party, we have the impression that they would have played more new songs than the ones that they played last night. Having said that, if the 2 songs (We're not counting PLON GAYE and A A VOYE) played by them last night is a good indication in terms of what the response was last night, THE APACHES are going to enjoy themselves a whole lot with this new cd.

"avwe" is a nice piece of work. The guitar is ... Can't find any words to describe it. Ok it s wow. Wow= beautiful and pure. Pa genyen anken n impurete nan kout guitar Sa.
It seems like Kreyol la is moving away from the demoiselles type of konpa ( ti bagay neg kap kriye nan micro Loll)

I was listening to the album saturday and last night, and this morning.

IT IS A NICE PIECE OF WORK.

ANPIL GUITAR. JAZZ LA MATURE!

Very different from their last album.

The album lives up to its title EVOLUTION.

So far there is only one song that I don't like and it is the first song on the album entiltes 'map boure or something like that.
