5 ETWAL maestro TI LUNET thinks all that talk about certain types of music appealing or not appealing to a certain type of crowd or class in Haiti is purely garbage.

TI LUNET: "PA GIN BAGAY KONSA. That thing does NOT exist. There is no such thing about certain people like certain styles/types of music by certain bands or whatever. IT'S ALL ABOUT MARKETING. DEPI MIZIK OU BON....LAP RIVE SOU TOUT MOUN. The same fan that likes ZENGLEN, NU LOOK, will also like CARIMI or KREYOL LA....as long as the music is good. Heck sometimes, they don't even know WHICH BAND composed the song...MIN MIZIK LA RIVE SOU LI EPI YAP RELE ANMWEY.....Regardless of the people's social background or complexion. BAGAY SA PA EXISTE VRE. THERE IS NO COLOR/MUSIC BARRIER IN THE HMI.

There are certain people WHO DO WANT to make these types of negative messages go through to a lot of people, but in reality...they don't exist. You have certain musicians who actually have it in their minds that it's because of the complexion of their skins they are unable to reach certain target markets or fans, or whatever, so they go ahead and bleach their skins hoping that it will help them in that department. But it's to no avail because musicians should know that they should not have to do that. MUSICIANS ARE LEADERS...They should lead by example. BAGAY SA PA EXISTE VRAIMENT NAN HMI LA.

Majorite Carimi's, or Kreyol La Fan base would not set their foot in that zenglen gig. i am not saying they are obligated just that, that's not their musical preference.
