RULX JEROME (Galamixx) as a former manager/owner of DZINE, knows Arly and Gazzman really well from their days of working together with DZINE. We asked him which one of the two groups will have the last laugh when all is said and done, this is what he told us.

RULX: "WOW....That's tough. They are both my boys. It's tough to say. Right now, GAZZMAN DISIP is riding at 70% because they have a new cd out and the live, and they just came out and are doing very well LIVE. NU LOOK right now is hurting a bit, but they are still standing at about 40%. What's going to be the key is the new CD that NU LOOK is about to drop on the market. That is VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT for NU LOOK. A lot of pressure on the band to deliver with that with Pipo as the lead singer now."

RULX continues "DISIP's cd has potential hit song, but THEY DO NOT HAVE A HIT SONG YET. When the leak came out, it hit their momentum. DJAKOUT's cd had momentum before it came out because the song "PROFITE" was already a HIT song on the Live circuit before they dropped the cd and video. DISIP did NOT get the chance to do that. They did not properly market their cd/songs before the leak and real cd came out. They are going to have to work at that. All we cn do is sit and watch what happens. IT IS TOUGH TO CALL FOR ME."

I agree wholeheartedly.

Rulx gave a rather fair and well-balanced assessment on how the process of both bands is working and it’s almost impossible (and not so very smart) to predict who will be left standing unless one lets their emotions and extreme fanaticism weaken their judgment. I’m glad the latter was not the case here.

this has got to be one of the best answer i read with that whole NU-LOOK/DISIP saga...

Very honest answer... the HMI is very unpredictable, so we just have to wait & see what will happen

both Bands need to step it UP if they wanna Survive Cool Wink

All he needed to do was to answer the question by picking one or the other as to who he thinks will be left standing. He just give a diplomatic answer. Wink

I hate these politcally correct answers...

not that know those high profile figures so to speak in the hmi has to be careful about what they say... but sometimes it's better to say no comment than answer a question with too much caution...

Since the question was, which band will be left standing..

it's simple... base on this theory..

Disip.. Came out and was killing the market, put every bands on pause for a good two months, base on curiosity... NO ALBUM, NO HIT.. they dominated the headlines... so, it was only fair to say that ONCE THEY RELEASED AN LP... Disip would have a stronghold and remain the top band in the market as they were much of spring and summer.. WELL... now that the LP has been released.. DISIP GONE ICE COLD... so if what tells you that this band will be relevant especially after HEADING SOUTH WITH A BRAND NEW ALBUM??? WRONG HERE..

NU LOOK.. just like any other band and as Disip's main target.. SUFFER BIG TIME WHILE DISIP WAS REAPING HARVEST in the spring and summer... LEFT FOR DEAD, so called INSIDERS BASICALLY WROTE THEM OFF.. WELL.. NOT ONLY THEY SURVIVED DISIP'S SHORT STAYED ON TOP.. THEY ACTUALLY MANAGED TO TURN THE TIDES.. NU LOOK IS DOING WAAAAYYY BETTER THAN DISIP RIGHT NOW AND THAT WITHOUT A BRAND NEW ALBUM...
SO WITHOUT AN ALBUM.. NU LOOK IS ALREADY STARTING TO LOOK AT DISIP IN ITS REAR VIEW MIRRORS.. and you mean to tell me that the choice is not clear?

C'mon.. Rolling Eyes

NU LOOK IS ALREADY STARTING TO LOOK AT DISIP IN ITS REAR VIEW MIRRORS..
That's the BEST analogy so far today....,
Zip, my sideview mirror comes with a warning that Reads:
" Objects in the Mirror are CLOSER than they Appear". Laughing Laughing

1Lov,

Woosh!

Ouch...

Wow....that stung.

Sa mode....

Rulx is asked a question he provides one and now Zip wants to state his answer. The only problem is that, we have not heard from Rulx. We hear from ZIP EVERY SINGLE day. It's the same answer.

Other needs to speak! Laughing
