PART 1:Hello everyone on KM, I want to thank all of the participants for putting in the time and making this contest what it has become. Thanks to the artists that sent in their voices on the track.

PART 2:I'm not going to comment on everyone as I am in a session right now and don't have the time to pinpoint everyone in detail. All I can say is that I'm sure everyone did their best but in every contest there can only be one winner. I'm actually going to change that in this contest there can be 3 winners.

Although there were a few that sent in their music last minute, I think it's only fair to accept them as they made the effort and they were really good. As an up and coming artist sometimes it's not that simple to get studio time and maybe they heard about the contest late. The fact of the matter is that they made the effort of going to the studio and they delivered before the closing of the contest. I hope everyone agrees and I'm sure everyone will understand that. I know personally that KM members can be hard but this is a different issue.

PART 3: I can't really say that anyone was #1 or anything of the sort. I liked a few contestants but all for different reasons. As I was listening to the different artists I didn't think anyone was strong enough on their own. I suddenly had a vision to put a group together that highlights everyone's strong points. Hip Hop is about a lot of things. It's your the beat, swag, flow, and mostly about LYRICS. I was happy to see that most of the KM members were on point with their comments and they knew exactly what they were talking about when they commented.

The following people are the people that I chose to get to the next step. I will state the names and comment about them.


Solo: Best lyrics! He reminds me a bit of Tupac with his delivery but the accent thing is a bit strong. I think that can be worked on and a very slight accent shouldn't matter. It's just a bit much now but his lyrics were the best! Work on that mane!


Jimmi Carter: Great swag, flow is on point. Lyrics are cool but I need him to dig deeper. I'm missing the puchlines and the metaphores. I need you to be the Faboulous, jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye and Drake in one. You got that NY sh%t and you got that kind of voice. Give me those punchlines... Said she love my necklace, started relaxing/Now that's what the f*ck I call a chain reaction JayZ. One of my favorite lines by J. The Game Needs Change and I'm The Mufkin Cashier”. Drake


Malvo 509: My all time favorite. You should never rap bro. Sing your raps! I like the fact that you sing and the doublings of your voice were together on time and you did your octaves plus you play the guitar. You're a definite part in the idea that I have.


Stichiz: I like your energy but it's too much! You sound like you're screaming. Sounds like you're actually kicking some hot lyrics but the screaming makes it hard to hear what you're saying. Tone the vocals down a couple of notches and convey the message. Let us hear your beautiful lauren Hill tones without shouting them out. I like the fact that you sing too so use that more. I want to see other pictures of you and close ups with the facial shots.


Jahne Jae: You've got a great flow but your voice doublings are sloppy. they need to be tighter and lyrically you're there but I'd like for you to go a little deeper too. you have it in you and I googled you and heard a joint you did on a BOSS beat. I wanna hear some other joints if you have any.

These are the 5 finalists! I want to create a group with 3 members. 1 guy has to go between Jimmy Carter and Solo and a girl has to go between Jahne Jae and Stichiz. Malvo 509 is the only one who's safe because he came in very originally and assured his spot. I need the 4 finalists to go back in and tighten up on the points I've made this upcoming week. Get the new versions in by Tuesday OF NEXT WEEK (NOT this Tuesday) so the KM members have a chance to comment. I think this can be a great group because the talent is there.

Just push the envelope and push yourselves. After this round the 3 winners will get into the studio with a producer that I will provide and record the best parts of the song to make it one song with all three of them. If it all goes well, I will have my lawyer MATT GREENBERG send them a production deal to sign then I will get fully involved into putting a 4 song package together which I will present to the majors (Labels).

Also, if there are great stylists out there in the community and photographers and video production companies, I would love for them to get involved after the songs are recorded and do what they do best. I want to go to the labels and have everyone that's going to participate on the project already be in the picture. So whoever wants to take the shot along with me and bring their skills to this please contact Pat and I will have someone get in touch to hear your ideas and see what you're able to do and we'll get it rolling. There's money for everyone in this game and i am not selfish, I just gotta have the perfect project. I can't go and play myself and lose my credibility so make it hot and I will push it through!

Thank you very much and I hope this will turn out the way I think it will and will be a great example of what we can do together as a nation. When you're put in a position of power it should be used for the advancement of your community not to destroy or crush it! I wish everyone a good weekend and the finalists should get to writing and recording asap!

First off, mad props to Danny P. for giving these young artists the exposure and break that they've been looking for.

Second, CONGRATULATIONS to The finalists. VERY DESERVING! Good Luck!

Third, to those who were not selected, you've already proven that the talent is in you and I give you MAJOR props for stepping up and taking on this challenge. I wish you the very best in your careers. I'll keep an ear out for you!

Mad props to you Danny man. I like what you're doing man, setting example in our community for people to see. We gotta do things like that, help each other. I hope things go as planned and this project becomes a success. I know in the music business things can get complicated at times, hopefully tout bagay mache anbyen.
