THUNDERMAN & SOLO

THUNDERMAN is the SINGER

SOLO is the rapper

SONG (Click on the link)
http://www.kmjukebox.com/streetlife/THUNDERSOLO.mp3

We just keep getting these street life joints coming in to us. While we will not be putting the late entries into the KM MEMBERS JURY POLL to decide YOUR WINNER, we will however continue to deliver them to DANNY P so that he can evaluate all the underground talents that are coming in for this. We also would not want to discourage the hard work that all of them put into getting the songs back to us.

Having said that...KM MEMBERS, I am asking you PLEASE...BEGGING YOU actually, won't you be kind enough to find it in your hearts, to give us your opinion on the track above...even if you've already voted in the street Life contest, or even if you haven't given your vote in yet (Due FRIDAY at 8 PM)?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

KM!

If you like Pac this guy will definitely be your favorite...

I don't like the singing... it may be the effect that killed it.

Solo would have made my Top 3 for sure

I can't stop listening to it.

Let me first admit my own inherent biases. First, I am partial to those who find a creative way to use the hook. Second, when it comes to rap, any hint of of an accent usually turns me off! Third, after reading what JM Perry wrote I thought he made sense in terms of people taking a different route to the "street life" anthem (think Tupac, Dear Mama).
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Neg yo bon!!!

Love the overall concept. Very good lyrics. Different approach from the previous entries. The singing played off very well with the hook.

Again, the accent can be problematic. I like fact that Pac was channelled, BUT it may be just a tad too much! There's a thin line between influence and copycat, and you DO NOT wanna be seen as the latter.

Antouka, bravo ti mesye. Gin anpil talan deyo a. No matter what happens, good luck!

Too bad they waited a little too long to submit their tracks. I luv 2pac a lot which makes me admire this track. Had they submited on time my top three would have been:
1 ) Jhane Jae ( she is hard .....i can tell she can free style real good)
2 ) Jimmy Carter
3 ) Thunderman and Solo
I guarantee you guys Danny's pick will be among those three i just mentioned.
I would encourage those who did theirs partially in Creole to pay more attention next time because the idea was to help you get to the next level where you can start to get pay for your work and we all know that Rap Creole thing just doesn't work........( or let's say Rap Creole won't put a cent in your pocket...lol)

Man... I could see tupac on this song listening to it.

THey did some serious work on this song. THey even changed the arrangement.

They definitely would have been in my top 3.
