According to CAMINITO FONDROSE, GRACIA DELVA fans SHOULD TAKE HOPE because of a case involving a popular meringue star. READ THE QUOTE BELOW
"Dominican blogs and sites have been buzzing since Omega's people announced this month he had been granted a visa to perform in the U.S. for the first time in four years. He had trouble obtaining one due to what his handlers described only as a DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) matter.

CAMINITO thinks that in due time GRACIA WILL BE GRANTED THE SAME FREEDOM.
CAMINITO says that he heard that some popular Spanish radio stations allegedly took charge of this matter to assume responsibility if anything goes wrong while the Meringue star is in the U.S....so he thinks maybe something similar should be done by the Haitian media or someone on Gracia's behalf.
A SUIVRE.

Its been 3+ yrs since I've been hearing the same thing....I forget who the last person was involved with trying to get Grcia here..btu that was exactly what he had to promise too..that he would be completely liable for Garcia but still nothing panned out.
So nap tan toujou...I'm afraid by the time he does get to come back...his impact will not be what it could've been had he come sooner. |

I think they have a totally different set of policy when it comes to issuing visa to Haitians down there.
Ou gèn dwa gèn bon papye nan mèn’w, chaje avek sipo epi konsil yo ap dechire paspòw ak refi wi.
Ebyen se pou Comilito pran koze Gracia en main si'l panse ke misye gen chans li.

Lionel Beeper should know the fact first before speaking. Yes Omega did come to New York and did receive a visa for 45 days but the real question for Mr. fondrose. Where did he perform?
The answer is simple he did not perform and he cannot perform because he came in as part of a church (as a church member) and he cannot perform anywhere. The church is responsible for him and everything he does so he could only visit as part of the congregation meaning he could only sing for God in the church that apply for him to get the visa (ONLY), not in night clubs or concert halls. I do not Know if Mr. Omega will come again to New York and perform but for now he cannot and if he tries to he will be deported again.
Maybe Gracia should be able to come like that but he will not be able to perform and what Haitian congregation will take that Chance? |

Caminino this is totally two opposite issues like(apples and cherries). one is drug and the other is using fake papers,names and other critical materials.
by all mean yes i would like to see him come back, but only time will tell. |

In that case Gracia should have a better chance;since Drug is a more serious crime than using fake paper. _________________ Douby,Hjoseph=singers;Mitou=gong;Carries=trombone;Judah=trumpet;Paul,Ceran=saxes;Tnes=bass;

For the sake of argument, let us agree that Gracia Delva was removed from the U.S because of fraudulent entry. How nonsensical that one is referring to a "drug case" as precedent for his prospective admission back in the US.
Immigration laws are codified federal law and judges tend to not legislate while on the bench. The INA is clear on that, fraudulent marriage carries a life-time ban from the US, overstaying one's I-94 for less than 1 year (but more than 180 days) is a 3 year ban, overstaying the I-94 for over a year is a 10 year ban and etc
Now there are waivers to go around them, but any immigration lawyer will tell you that this is no pleasant exercise because the standard is the rigid clear and convincing evidence from the petitioner.
