Why are sources telling us that a musician resigned from a high profile band by sending a TEXT MESSAGE to the top dogs concerned?

LOL....there are no confrontation when you send a text and it's almost impossible to convince someone to change decision through texting. It's not professional but hey, they are artists, they're not on that corporate rules....
