We got word that CARIMI is currently looking for a new drummer to take over for Shedley Abraham, therefore we contacted manager Fito Farinen who confirmed it.

FITO told us that SHEDLEY has been more than helpful in holding that position for the band, and now due to the group's upcoming grueling schedule, that would leave no time for him to concentrate on his studio. Fito told us that SHEDLEY will do the group a favor and hold the position for them until they are comfortable with the new drummer. Shedley was expected to hold the position until January 2010, but he ended up staying longer than that.

If you are interested in the position, one of the key ingredients is that the musician be LOCAL.

Contact Fito Farinen for more.

KM!

LOCAL as in "we ain't payin' for your relocation expenses."

I was about to buy me a pair of drumsticks until I saw the disclaimer.

Gentleman1, Noir Facil was the first one that came to mind as well.

In all seriousness, I do hope someone young and new get to display their talent with CaRiMi.

He gives it a heavier feel-like...
I noticed that.. I dont do Carimi live often so either I haven't been out in such a long time that ti coeur mwen te kontan or indeed Shedley brought a heavier flavor.. All in all.. I hope they find someone who they see fit!.. Til then.. Keep up the good work Shedley! Great job..

Why do you think he never joined any bands? The big "Dogs" in the HMI may not be producing but a lot of wannabes are.
