KOMPA MAGAZINE asked ZIN vocalist POLO about the BELJAZ rumors, this is what he told us a few minutes ago.
POLO: "YES the approach was made, but I can tell you as of right now, I AM LEANING MORE TOWARDS ZIN THAN BELJAZ. Having said that, RALPH MENELAS is a very good friend of mine. DEPI BELJAZ KA JERE'M..SI LI RELEM POU VINI NAN YON BIZNIS, being a CO-OWNER could be a very important piece of the puzzle to help convince me of their intentions towards me. After all, I am already established in New York with a job and all."
POLO continues "It would have to be YON LOT BELJAZ AK POLO, and "NOT" Polo coming aboard to join THE OLD BELJAZ. We would have to start the band/business from scratch. If I were to make that move to Miami, POLO would have to have major say in BELJAZ, and not just be a regular player in the band. Having said that, people can say whatever they want to say, ZIN remains PI GWO JAZZ NEW GENERATION NAN. It's just that they need to give me something (Material) pou mwen fe bagay."

This Polo guy is all over the place.
One minute he’s leaning towards Zin, but carefully listing conditions that need to be applied for him to join BelJazz. Does anyone ever say “Thanks, but no thanks” in the HMI when it comes to switching bands?

BelJazz just got into some trouble. POLO who made a short career being band like 1st Klass and Zin now demands a say amongst those who actually made a career in the business. Foli sispeta in the HMI is a disease for sure.

Reality Check partne....
Riding off ALAN CAVE's popularity for ZIN is not going to help your success partne. Lets slow down and swallow a dose of reality. You are now the face of ZIN (Im assuming) so bring yourself down a few notches. You have a ways to go my friend to get ZIN back to their Pi Gro jazz days. You are not Alan Cave. Dont fool yourself. You have to start yourself from SCRATCH and regain the FANS Zin has lost... They have hard core fans..but are they hard enough to come to a ZIN party and support the new face of ZIN... Hmmm Ill let you answer that question. POLO will not get fans to their parties.. ZIN don't even have females as eye candy to even attract people right now... Lets be real folks.. Seriously. THINK before you state such foolish statement.. Plead the fifth for now and go grind in the studio to get a new game plan for ZIN...
Come back with a new revamped ZIN & successful parties then you can come back with your comments. Til then discontinue talking wreckless.. and bring that energy to a studio... Thanks in Advance
and Im not downplaying ZIN as a band. But Come on.. Pi Gro Jazz epi pa mem yo pep nou tande from ZIN from the last year or so..
